On my previous orders the Soft Pine 3.5" Thins were cut against the grain, and my birds loved them. On this order they were cut with the grain, which made them Break a part in large pieces. My birds are not finding them as appealing.
Giving it 5 stars because it is a great toy piece for larger birds. I have a cockatiel and bought this by accident, meant to buy balsa. Oops lol. A little tough for small beaks to chew.
I always buy these because my parrots love them. The holes are a great size for using a variety of multiple stringing choices.
A favorite shredding toy- he carries them around then finds a spot to turn the block (s) into splinters- keeps him very entertained
Unfortunately not what I was looking for, the green color was not as saturated as in the photos, so my bird did not like it as much. I had been looking for a green rectangle to replace the one she ripped off her toy and has kept for years, but if you're just looking for colorful rectangles it's a great purchase. I ended up giving them to my boyfriend for crafts and he was satisfied.

Good size block for B&G macaw to chew. They could have twin product 0.5 thick. The 0.25 inch goes quickly, and could use 0.5 inch product of 3.5 length block since they present intermediate challenge for destruction by bird. They one inch thick blocks are thicker and bird quits chew because it cannot destroy block. Half inch thick could be a good product to add.
