The product is what it says it is. I suppose 20ft is a lot less than what I pictured. Amount for the price isn't worth it in my opinion.

I am relieved to know that the hemp twine I bought is safe for my parrots. I bought some elsewhere that was supposed to be natural, but it had a chemical smell and I couldn't use it. Not this one! This hemp rope has no chemical smell at all and my birds approve.

I like this thin rope. I use it to hang bunny toys to help keep them off the ground, fur-free, and steady for chewing. I have tried seagrass and while it is also safe like this hemp rope, it is harder to work with. This rope is soft, strong, yet thin enough to make a solid knot. If you've used seagrass rope you know what I mean. I actually like it better than sisal. The only two drawbacks are that it's not a whole lot, but still it is the best quality for value I've found for my purposes. My bunnies do not seem to chew it as much as seagrass either, which is ideal because I want the things to stay hung but in the event they eat some it is likely fine. 2nd, it smells of something natural it might just be the way hemp smells I am not sure. Smells like lanolin if you know what that smells like (if not, think sheep grease).

My bird much prefers chewing this rope to the paper rope. I enjoy how flexible it is, I can braid it to make soft ladders and whatnot.
