It's shockingly hard to find these, I was using eyelet bolts for a while and they got pretty grimy and I couldn't fit smaller pieces of food on them. With these, I can fit a good amount of fruit and veggie chunks and hang them in the chickens' run. They're easy to clean and the perfect size for my bantams.
Such an easy way to add some fun toys to the birdhouse!

The kabob is part of my GC's daily feeding routine. This is a convenient way for him to access fruit and chewy toys. A difficult item to find in non-toxic stainless steel. So far no issues. The kabob is thicker than the ones made by Kaytee which are not available and they had metal flakes.

I use these to make new destroyable toys for our Indian Ringneck. I'll usually thread wooden blocks on the bottom, a treat cup, and a rattan ball or lightweight piece of wood on top of that so I can hide goodies that he has to work to get. The extras are so I can have another one ready to go when he's done sufficient damage to the previous one. I do occasionally string some fruit or veg on a kabob as well, which means he can gnaw on it without dropping it on the floor.

The product is of fair quality. The steel is not surgical grade. Not quite sure it's food grade standards. There are small spots of rust on the end screw cap and threads on the skewers. Contacted shop and I can return them. After 1x use, that is what I will ask for.
