Description
Raw, natural, Virgin Cork Blocks. These are a completely natural product, made of raw cork bark. 100% safe and non-toxic to parrots, these are a great option for birds who don't like to chew harder wood, or for birds with handicapped beaks that can't chew harder wood.
Approximately 2" to 3" square with varying thicknesses due to cork being a natural product.
Available un-drilled, or with a 1/4" hole.

My cockatoos love these! Fred will just destroy them right out of the box or on a toy. Taz prefers to have hers on a toy.
My budgies can not get enough of these cork chunks! They are always fighting each other to be the first to nibble on them. Each cork chunk is different in size and shape, which is a plus and is easy for my budgies to forage. It is a must-have for any avian friend!
No matter the size or width of these cork chunks, they will instantly shrink in size once my budgies get their claws on them. This is another of my budgies' favorite natural toy parts to forage. they all go feral for it and will fight with each other just to chew on it!
A house favorite! These corks only last just a few days for these birds to destroy them fully. The sizes vary from large to medium, which I enjoy the variety and they are great quality! I always make sure to include these in every order!
I don’t know how well you can see this but, the cork is partially destroyed and a happy, tired budgie sits in contentment. Love the cork with pre-drilled holes!

My Umbrella Cockatoo, Sugar, loves these. She can only have soft wood and items due to a beak infection, and these are perfect. They are large with a multitude of thickness and clean. Perfect!
My bird loves these chunks! Hours of entertainment, though sometimes I do have to poke a chopstick through the holes before I can get paper rope through them.

These cork chunks and the mahogany pods tie for favorite toys. I put them in foraging dishes, add them to her foraging flats (which she absolutely loves digging through to find hidden treats). All these toys from A Bird Toy are awesome!

Hello. We really enjoy your shop and my mom's African Gray has a great time w all of her toys and enrichment items. I order regularly for her every few months. However ~ this is the 3rd time that my mother has received packs of cork chunks that smelled terrible. The first time she didn't let me know for awhile and threw them out. The 2nd order that it happened with when we spoke about it ~ you stated that maybe she was leaving them unopened for too long and replaced them. This last order that I placed for her ~ she received them in May and I was on a two week vacation and she mentioned it at the time but it slipped my mind. The cork chunks were opened right away and once again smelled terrible and she ended up throwing them away again. She was fearful it wasn't safe for her bird Madison. We've been ordering from your shop for a few years and as I said ~ we love it and have had no other issues w any other items ever ~ but the cork chunks a few times now were not as they should be. I'm not certain why but we wanted you to be aware of it again and we will not be ordering any cork chunks in the future. Thank you and I hope this helps you figure out whatever may be going on w it.

After seeing your review, we went through every bag of cork that we have in our inventory and opened them up to see what scent you might be finding. Out of the four of us in the office today, we can't find anything out of the ordinary. I can say this: We have been receiving cork from the same supplier since the very first day we began selling it. We clean, cut up, and bag each and every piece that we sell and can say with certainty that none of it ever comes into contact with anything harmful. While I do wish we could figure out what your mom may be detecting, once again, we don't smell the same thing she does. I am very sorry! - Christina

My 7 rescue parakeets literally devoured the toys I made from the items I purchased. It was so much fun to make them toys from things I know they love, like sola balls, cork chunks, reed pinwheels etc. With toys being so expensive, this is definitely the better way to go and it’s fun too. The little spiral twigs were a huge hit too. I wrapped them around some of their natural perches and they love picking at them. My birds do have one request, basketball size sola balls lol. Or at least softball size. They want more of a challenge lol. Great products, highly recommend!
These are so messy but my BH Pionus loves these cork chunks so stinking much that it seems cruel to deny her them. I’m also going to try my baby Turquoise GCC on a chunk soon since he loves his other corks and cork disks so much. Thanks for making my babies so happy by offering products that allow them to indulge their natural chewing instincts safely, which keeps them, and therefore us as their owners, sane!

Although the chunks are big, my Goffin loves them. It takes him about three days to thoroughly destroy one, so big it is good in my book. I get them with a drill hole and hang them on a stainless steel treat stick along with the dried corn.
